Dating to the late 1800s, this antique pie safe is a truly special piece, with layers of time revealing themselves through its stunning patina and beautifully worn wood. The tall silhouette and paneled double doors make it just as striking today as an armoire, linen cabinet, or statement storage piece.

Before refrigeration, pie safes were a household staple used to store pies, breads, and other foods while keeping them protected from insects and pests. Traditionally, many incorporated ventilated tin or screened panels that allowed air to circulate while food cooled. This piece carries that sense of history forward, with more than a century of age and character visible in its wonderfully imperfect finish.
