Objects collected over time give a home its depth and character. At Modern Nomad Home, our curated selection of Asian pottery and vintage ceramics celebrates the artistry of decorative vessels, porcelain vases, sculptural jars, and objects shaped by centuries of craft traditions.

From intricately painted Chinese porcelain to expressive Japanese ceramics and richly detailed enamelwork, our collection brings together pieces with distinctive forms, surfaces, and stories. Selected for their beauty and individuality, these objects feel equally compelling in contemporary interiors and more layered, collected spaces.

Chinese Porcelain, Japanese Ceramics & Decorative Vessels

Across Asia, ceramics have long been appreciated for both their practical purpose and artistic expression. Our evolving assortment reflects that rich design heritage through a considered selection of vintage pottery, porcelain vessels, decorative jars, and teapots.

Discover floral motifs, intricate surface decoration, organic textures, and sculptural silhouettes. From Chinese-inspired Famille Rose porcelain to Japanese Moriage decoration and champlevé enamelwork, each piece offers its own interpretation of color, form, and craftsmanship.

Some vessels make a beautiful statement on their own, while others are best appreciated as part of a larger arrangement. Explore our Vintage Pottery collection for additional ceramics and decorative objects from other regions and traditions.

Vintage Asian Pottery for Collected Interiors

We believe the most interesting rooms are assembled over time, with objects that reflect personal taste, curiosity, and a sense of discovery.

A hand-painted porcelain vase brings color and detail to a mantel. A sculptural ceramic teapot adds an unexpected note to a bookshelf. An aged decorative jar can introduce texture and visual weight to a console or dining table.

Mixing periods, materials, and origins creates a more personal interior. Pair Asian pottery with the luminous forms in our Vintage Glass collection, or create a layered composition with pieces from Wall Art.
