Rare African hand carved wooden chair with Beautiful dark brown patina. This folding chair, comprised of two pieces that fit into each other is made from a single piece of ébéniste wood from west Africa. Also called guard chair, this traditional African folding chair was once reserved for the African elite. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use this African club chair features a finely carved crocodile motif on the back.
